This form is to report a hate crime or incident but also to record microaggressions. Microaggressions have been defined as brief and common daily verbal behavioural and environmental communications whether intentional or not. They transmit hostile, derogatory or negative messages to a personal because they may belong to a marginalised group. This form is open to all students and staff, further it allows third-party reports of cases in relation to another person. You will be given the option to either report an incident and get support from an adviser who will discuss the options to take your report further or report an incident anonymously.
Choosing the option to report anonymously will mean a Students' Union advisor won't be able to contact you to ensure you can receive support as we won't have your details.
